I signed up for singles.net. At first I chatted with a few people, there was an occasional spam from a fake profile. Then After about 2 weeks of being on the site I would say 29 out of 30 emails i received over a period of a few days were fake. How do I know they are fake. Well they all said the same thing except the aim was different. At first I responded to one or two and the girls sent me a form e-mail about how they are stuck in Nigeria and need funds to get back to the US. Total scam.
I sent the site adminitrator an e-mail notifying them that there are a large amout of fake profiles and that I would not renew. They sent me back an e-mail stating that they do not have any responsibility over what the users say and they basically can't do anything. Also to cancel you have to either call them from 9-5 EST during the week or write them a letter, otherwise your subscription renews automatically.
Just tonight I checked my e-mail and there were about 10 new spam e-mails. aughhhhhh will it ever end.
Don't waste your time on this website!
