Singlesnet charges my credit card, when I requested removal of membership
Feb 19, 2008
Singlesnet complaint by Rroane
I joined Singlesnet.com back in October. I used the website for slightly over a month and in December I asked to be removed from their membership list through their e-mail system online. I was billed in January, this time I requested through e-mail and called their Customer Service line. They stated that I couldn't prove I sent the initial e-mail and they had no record of it, nor did I since I did it on their website, so I asked to be taken officially off by telephone and they assured me that I would not be billed again. I just got my statement for February and they charged me again. I am very upset and think they are doing this to many more people other than me. I think you all should know!

This happened to me too, I requested my account to be deleted yesterday and they've charged £32.47 to my credit card account.

This is why tis best to stick with free sites - plentyoffish, justsayhi and datehookup to name a few.

I have been charged for three months and they have not done anything about it. I am calling my card service and the better business bureau. This is ridiculous and a scam - I too cancelled my membership following the instructions provided on their site.

:( they charged my card too when i asked them not to and the customer service rep was rude. everyone try match1.com. it's better, u can look at a profile without the other person being notified and it's totally free for the ladies to talk to anyone:) u can email for free ladies NOT just send stupid flirt messages like singlesnet

Are you still being charged to this day?
