I am so angry - last month when my account was billed I knew I had forgot to go in and cancel my account so I did it right away. Well guess what, it didn't take and I was billed again. I called customer service who said I had not done so and even if I had because I signed up using PayPal I 'also' had to go through them to cancel the subscription!!!. They blew me off and I got no satisfaction. The old saying Buyer Bewware certainly applies here. I would not use this dating service ever again.

What angers me is the fact of all the married men or scammers or men who simply *** instead of finding someone.

i paid for a membership because i found a few girls that i thought might be nice to meet. i emailed 2 or 3 girls, and the next day my membership was canceled. i called customer service, and they said i was probably canceled for being inappropriate. there is absolutely no way anything i said could have been construed as inappropriate. it was all generic "hey, how ya doin, where ya from?" type stuff. i asked for specifics, and they said they don't keep any record of it. they do keep the money, though. i basically paid $30 for a couple of emails.

While I have enjoyed women interested in my profile, all of them are from the California area. I live a long way from California. Also, when I have attempted to e-mail these ladies, I am immediately taken to a screen where I am to choose what kind of a subscription I want to buy. I was told it was free to send and receive e-mails. What's the deal??

If everyone would stop paying these clowns and try PlentyofFish.com we wouldn't have to see those idiotic commercials for EHarmony and Match.com anymore; they'd by gone! I have no affiliation to the POF site at all, other than being a member and fan. It is truly 100% free and all its lacking is for paying singles to wise up and put away their credit cards until they get out on a real date. The guy (Markus Frind) uses a portion of each page's real estate for Google ad-sense, so all he needs are voluntary/optional click-throughs to get paid. The background info on the site is very interesting reading (see link below).

Just go on the site for free then it is ok. Do not recommend you pay for this site it is misleading at best.

I did some digging and found the proper way to cancel (below). Worked for me!
